PARTICIPANTS

As of Sept 20, we require proof of vaccination. You can find yours at www.albertavaccinerecord.ca. We also require you to wear a mask when not exercising.

FACILITY COVID MITIGATION

We have upgraded our HVAC system for improved ventilation and air filtration. We will continue to leave our large bay doors open during busy training times when weather permits. Our facility is cleaned daily and hand sanitizer is available.

Let's go a little further! Learn to climb, make a foot knot, and try out new poses!

STEP 3

BEGINNER SILKS

5 - 12 Months

Learn the foundations of aerial silks and rope: climbing, foot knots, straddles, and hipkeys. Learn poses using all of the foundational positions, build your endurance, and finish by learning your first drop!

STEP 4

INT SILKS

12 - 24 Months

Learn single rotation drops in all directions, all types of butterfly entrances and exits, and continue building your endurance and repertoire of poses.

STEP 5

ADVANCED SILKS

To Infinity and Beyond

Multiple rotation drops, multi-directional drops, advanced poses, dynamic rolls, open drops, and learn to reverse engineer and explore or create new moves safely.

Workshop

Are you ready for more...but not quite ready to commit to a Beginner Class?

 

Here's one more chance to try it out in a workshop setting!

You'll learn how to climb, tie a foot knot, and fun little twirly pose called The Peter Pan!

Only $20+gst during October! (Heads up: price increase coming in Nov.)

Prerequisite: completion of the Introductory Silks Workshop

Memberships

Our memberships consist of 2 parts: a facility fee/base membership, plus a coaching fee per weekly class. Both memberships are billed monthly and can be cancelled with minimum one month's notice.

Facility Fee/Base Membership - SLIDING SCALE

  • Sliding scale $90 to $120 plus GST per month

  • Unlimited access to weightlifting, mobility gear, and open training points during operating hours

  • The facility fee is used for all the things necessary to operate our studio: rent, utilities, insurance, administration, maintenance, cleaning, etc.

Class Fee/Coaching Fee

  • ~$40 plus GST per month per (weekly) instructed class

  • Prices may vary (for visiting instructors, longer sessions, etc.)

  • The class fee covers your coach's wage.

  • Classes run for 1-2 months but are billed monthly. 

  • Schedule will be announced ~3 months in advance. Registration coming soon!

Are you a professional looking for training space? Open training available for aerialists with adequate experience and skill and their own equipment for the base membership ship. Subject to owner approval and in house safety and rigging class.

All members agree to abide by our Code of Conduct and sign a liability waiver.

Contact us at hello@circofit.com if you have prior experience and would like to be evaluated for skill and strength level.

 

Missed class policy

To keep our membership prices as low as possible, we do not offer make-up classes or refunds.

ENDING YOUR MEMBERSHIP:

Please cancel your membership in writing minimum 1 month in advance by emailing hello@circofit.com. You will be charged for your final month. No refunds.

SICK?

Please respect your fellow Circuslings and coaches by staying home when sick. In Covid times or normal times, only assholes knowingly spread their germs. Please see Code of Conduct.

OPENTRAINING

Your time to practice and condition on the equipment. Included in all memberships.

Prerequisite:

  • minimum 1 month of aerial experience

Monday 5:30-8:30pm

T/W/Th/F noon-2pm

Friday 6:30-8:30pm

Every second Saturday 2-4pm (Sept 18, Oct 2...)

Please note, learning is for class time! There will be a coach present and available for questions when needed, but you should only practice moves that you are confident with.

CircoBoxing

A program drawing from boxing, kickboxing, kung fu/wushu, and circus conditioning. Learn dynamic striking and conditioning in a fun environment.

This level of class has no experience requirements. Varying difficulty levels and alternate exercises will be available for wherever you are in your fitness exploration.

Aerial Sling Workshop with Kendra

Level 1 (from the ground up)

Sitting, laybacks and standing - explore movement off the ground with the support of the sling, and finish the workshop by learning a sequence of poses and transitions.
