Introducing our OFFICIAL kids and teen program! Fall term: Sept-Dec 2022.

Hi Everyone! Sarah here. I'm excited to announce our new offerings for age 8-18, starting soon. Read on to hear more about our Recreational Program, our program for High Level athletes and gymnasts and more info about me (the coach)!

Recreational Program, Age 8-18

This program is designed for any child interested in learning circus, no experience necessary! The goal is to let these kids try different circus disciplines and learn to tap into their creativity through movement. Each child will learn basic skills on disciplines such as; flexibility, foundational acrobatics, drama, juggling, aerial silks, aerial hammock, dance trapeze and aerial hoop. We are striving to add physical awareness and ability, artistic experience and empowerment to every student joining the recreational kids program.



  • Tuesday evening's from 4pm-5pm

  • 12 week program starting September 13

  • Coached by Sarah Visser

  • Price: $420+gst, total due to register, no refunds (e-transfers to hello@circofit.com)

There are limited spots! First come, first served. No make-up classes or refunds will be offered.

High Level Program, Ages 8-18

This program is designed for kids with a competitive artistic background such as, but not limited to; dance, gymnastics, figure skating, cheerleading, martial arts, etc. The goal is to let these athletes try different circus disciplines, transfer their skills into the world of circus and if desired, audition for professional circus school of higher education. Each child will learn the foundation skills on disciplines such as handstands, contortion, group and solo acrobatics, drama, creation and research, juggling, aerial silks, aerial hammock, dance trapeze and aerial hoop. Circus allows artistic athletes to expand on their current skillset and/or pursue a potential career performing.


  • Wednesdays from 4pm-5:30pm

  • 90 min weekly classes and a student showcase in December at the end of the session (date TBA)

  • 12 week program starting on September 14

  • $630+gst, total due to register, no refunds (e-transfers to hello@circofit.com)

Pre-requisites: Any artist/athlete with a competitive sport or artistic performance background. To apply please send a video up to 3 minutes long, of the artist or athletes best skills to Sarah@circofit.com. The video can include training videos or competition videos doing acrobatics, choreography, acting, dancing, circus arts and any special tricks. Audition videos are due by September 1st 2022. There are limited spots available. As this is a high level program, dependant on audition reviews, your athlete may be referred to another program. There are limited spots! No make-up classes or refunds will be offered.

Meet the Coach

Sarah Visser started her athletic journey at North Edmonton Gymnastics Club when she was 9 years old. Finding her way to coaching in her teens, Sarah coached all levels of gymnastics from baby gymnastics to competitive level. At multiple gymnastics clubs such as Phoenix Gymnastics Centre, Salto Gymnastics and Fort Saskatchewan Gymnastics Club. She also judged competitive gymnastics, judging up to level 7 at various competitions, including provincials, though out Alberta.


Sarah started her circus arts journey in 2016, moving to Quebec City shortly after that, to begin 3 years of “DEE - SUPERIOR STUDIES” at École de cirque de Québec from 2017-2020. Continuing her professional training in Montreal, with world famous swinging trapeze cirque de soleil coach, Victor Fomine the following year. Sarah is a generalist specializing in swinging trapeze, dance trapeze, aerial hoop, chinese pole, acrobatics, contortion and fire manipulation. Sarah has performed independently and various circus companies thoughout Alberta, Montreal, Toronto and the USA. Performing for companies such as, Milord Entertainment at K-Days and in the USA, Indigo circus, Firefly Circus and Theater, Carpe diem circus company in Montreal. Sarah is highly reliable and organized. Sarah has an excellent understanding of the anatomy and mechanics of the body as she is a registered massage therapist. She is very excited to share her knowledge and help her students find themselves as circus artists.
